It’s Your Move is the passion project of founder, and CEO Jason Tereska. After 15+ years in the moving industry, Jason became disillusioned and frustrated by the poor policies, practices, and lack of professionalism he observed in other companies so, he set about to build something different.

Our company was created in 2019 and began as a small, one-man furniture and appliance delivery business motivated by a strong desire to serve people who need help. There was no start-up capital, well-heeled investor, or corporation making any investments. The beginnings were humble Jason simply traded in his newer car for a used truck and a trailer and went to work. Financial experts told Jason and his wife Lynn that most small businesses fail within two years. But Jason refused to fail. Instead, he worked long, hard days in North Florida’s extreme summers and surprisingly cold winters. Lynn would often help him with deliveries in the early days. There were many falls, bumps, scrapes, and blisters. There were tears and frustration, but laughter too. And slowly, the company grew. Jason earned a reputation for providing a quality service and for being honest. Soon customers began to ask: “Can you move me?” In 2021, after the demands became overwhelming, It’s Your Move was created with a vision of treating customers the way we want to be treated—with kindness, dignity and understanding. It’s Your Move strives to meet people where they are. We know moving is stressful, and that’s why “We’re Here To Help!”
